Taking advantage of security lapse as police patrollin come to a standstill in the water-logged areas, 6 dacoits enters the house of a business man in Anugrah Narayan Sinha Road near Congress Maidan and looted belongings worth Rs. 5 lakh. The accident took place in the early hours on Monday around 3am to 4am.

On Sunday Muzaffarpur police busted a gang of bank dacoits. The gang was being headed by Chumman Pandey, the mukhiya of Fateha panchayat in Muzaffarpur. The gang comprised of eight members and was wanted in three bank dacoities committed in Muzaffarpur and one committed in Sitamarhi district.

Jehanabad : In a shocking accident father of a girl who was very upset with their neighbours who used to molesting her young daughter has shot at them on sunday morning. The father named Surendra Mistri has been arrested. The incident took place in Bhagiratha Bigha village under Nagar Police Station .The victims RajKapoor Yadav and Tawakya Yadav were doing farm work at the time of accident in their field.

About 50thousand patnaites has living life in lull as the waterlogging enters 10th day.
The people have lost confidence in PMC(Patna Municipal Corporation) and the govt. machinaries as
well. Despite all the efforts, meetings, orders n instruction the govt. failed to provide a bit of relief. The mixed concotation of garbage, sewarage and drainage line has change the logged water color into green and now into black with innumerrable water-borne viruses and  mosquitoes.
The posh Rajendra nagar area has been the worst hit with a minimum of waist deep water in every street and lanes.

Patna Experiences Max Water Logging Not Rain
The govt. claims that Patna has too much rain this year is not justified by the met dept. record. As per record the on 20th July 2007 there were 120mm of rainfall yet the water logged roads were cleared in 3-4 days. But this time the ill-prepared govt. doing fief to hide their failure to tackle the situation. Our technical team has leafed thrrough the records of met. dept and tried to bring fact before society. Our appeal to all our readers to forward this news to more and more people so the fact could reach the authority in big appeal.
