Inter-state Automobile Theft Gang Busted
In a major success the Patna police busted a gang involved in stealing luxury cars and SUVs. The Kotwali police arrested four people from near Veena cinema at Patna junction on friday. The police recovered a total of five luxury vehicles from their possession. The two Tata victa , two Bolero and one Tata Safari recovered, has been stolen in recent times.

IAS Officer Gets 4 yrs Imprisonment In Fodder Scam Case
The special CBI court in Ranchi on friday awarded 4 years of  Rigorous Imprisonment to an IAS Officer, Mr. Sajal Chakroborty, the then transport secretary. The court has also imposed a fine of rs. 3.50 Lakh on him failing which attracts 6 more months in Jail. The court found his involvement in the high-profile fodder scam case with case no. RC 51a/96. The court  of B.K.Sahay has awarded the punishment amid much media presence outside the courtroom.

In a shocking accident of millitant activities, a powerful bomb were exploded in the busiest Batmalu Bus Stand of SriNagar. Five persons of the same family killed in the spot. The family were of Bihar and the only who survive is Md. Afroj, who was going to Jammu with his family from where he had to take train to Bihar. The explosion were at the time when passengers were sitting in a Bus to Jammu.

Heaps of garbage, waterlogging, poor sanitation and dilapidated roads have brought miseries to the patnaites. Stinking and dirty water has been flowing from drains.Adding to resident woes the water supply pipes were damaged at a few places and stinky water is coming out of taps.
While drains are choked emitting foul smell, accumulation of dirt and filth have made lives of the common people miserable.

Water Receded, Traffic Resumes On Patna Roads
With much efforts by the administration last week and as rains have not poured well during last 48 hours water level on many roads has been receded. With the removal of stinky and stagnant water from their rooms, doorsteps and gardens people here have a great sigh of relief. It is well known that RajendraNagar has evolved as the worst hit area this monsoon leaving behind Kankarbagh. Our photographer Nitesh Kr. has send some more snaps.
