Inter-state Automobile Theft Gang Busted
In a major success the Patna police busted a gang involved in stealing luxury cars and SUVs. The Kotwali police arrested four people from near Veena cinema at Patna junction on friday. The police recovered a total of five luxury vehicles from their possession. The two Tata victa , two Bolero and one Tata Safari recovered, has been stolen in recent times.
On stringent inquiry the miscreants accepted their involvement and tell their modus-operandi before police. The police expressed the detailed the  arrested criminals. They are Md. Kalam of Islampur in Nalanda, Kundan kumar of Madhopur in Chandi near Chhapra, Manoj kumar of Korwa in Islampu and Md. Mustaq Khan of Dargah road in sultanganj.
They used to get original paper of the stolen vehicles in connivance with DTO official. Once they get the paper it is quite easy for them to sell them. They used to sell vehicles between 1.5 to 2 lakh depending upon the condition. As a new vehicle gives them good value the gang has new vehicles on their hit list. The luxury vehicles were used to stolen from Delhi, NCR and Jharkhand. Sometime they have cars of Mumbai also.
The police has begin investigation as involvement of DTO officials in the case has make this a rather critical case.
