The economists, academicians and eminent personalities of Bihar logged together at a common stage in Patna on saturday to express their vision for a developed bihar. The process and the blueprints were also discussed. Under the umbrella of The Bihar Industries Association (BIA) the participating members enjoyed it and they all agree for preparing an memorandum to be presented to the 13th Finance Commission for getting greater share of resources to Bihar.

As the situation of flood is taking toll flood victims are getting infuriated over the sluggish pace of relief work. Reports from Supaul and Madhepura confirms that On Saturday a group of villagers pelted stones at Supaul administration officials. There are 6 to 8 feet of water and villagers are unable to move on their on. As the pathetic situation enters 5th day the villagers have been virtually left without food, water and shelter.

Due to increasing pressure from the parents of 2000 odd children of Delhi Public School the school authorities have to shut the school on thursday. According  to reports guardians has expressed reservations against sending their wards to school as the movement of school buses are not safe in as the roads are flooded.

Koshi Water Enters Madhepura
The situation of flood in the state is getting tensed as it enters into Madhepura. Following this there is a sense of insecurity among population in the three blocks of the district. The flood water first entered Kumarkhand block. Road and railway traffic are severely affected as tracks and roads have been completely damaged in Murliganj block. A long portion of the NH-107 before the Baluaha road bridge is completely damaged.

Major Naxal Attack In Gaya, 8 Killed
In a major bolt to the administration the naxalites attacked police force in Gaya on thursday. Three SAP jawans were killed on the spot while an ASI has lost his life. The attack seems to planned and the attackers were waiting near the Raniganj branch of Punjab National Bank. Following the attack the whole market were shut down as fears rumbled through. The police has encircled the area and intesive search is on to grab the naxalites.

All 98 students from various parts of the country, studying in mechanical, electrical and computer engineering streams, have been attending classes from Aug 7 in the temporary campus in the heavily waterlogged areas.
The temporary premises of IIT-Patna is facing its tough time as the water enters its campus and remained there for last 2 days.

Urban Dev. Minister Warns High Court
Urban development minister Mr. Bhola Prasad singh could not help countering High court critical remarks over the govt. workstyle. Infuriated over the knocking statement given by the Hon'ble Patna high court on wednesday over the filthy condition of the capital roads and poor state of waste management. Knowingly  the hightcourt on monday stated that due to mismanagement and apathy of govt. agencies and machinaries the city has turned into a slum.

Flood Enters Danapur, Migration Continues
The crack which appears on the eastern Dam in Kusha(Nepal) over Koshi river has now stretched over 1000 meters. All efforts to control the widening the cracks has severely failed. Though on a approximate estimate a population of 30 lakhs would be affected by the flood, here is a snapshot of most effected areas.
The Virpur(Supaul) block office is already inundated in flood water.
Flood water may enters Katihar, Purnia, Madhepura & Araria anytime.
3 persons reportedly dead in Samastipur.

On Monday former JD (U) leader and NCP State president Upendra Kushwaha threatened to open his mouth and expose the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar. Kushwaha was speaking at press conference.
