The fourth grade employees of the Patna High Court on Monday blocked the main entrance of the High Court with the dead body of Ambika Prasad Yadav, a gardener, who reportedly died after hearing the news of him being on the list of those being retired under the government's compulsory retirement scheme. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Gujarat governor Kailashpati Mishra died here Saturday, party leaders said. He was 86. Mishra, one of the founder members of the BJP, was suffering from asthma for a few months. He breathed his last at his house. Mishra was one of those leaders of Jana Sangh and BJP, who created the base for the saffron party in Bihar.Chief Minister Nitish Kumar offered his condolence and visited his residence to pay his respect.
