A heroic BJP emerged as the largest party in recently held Karnataka poll with three seats short of majority. It is a landmark victory for the saffron party as it emerged as a ruling party on its own.

BJP bagged 110 out of 224 member assembly with 79 seats as compared to the last elections held in 2004. The better performance of BJP in Karnataka poll is not only a chance rather shows the change in the spectrum which could have a deep impact on the national politics as well.

BJP showed a spectacular performance in almost all parts of the state and its chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa  is likely to hold the chief minister office on 28th May.

The mass showed the former govt the door of ouster with a loss of 30 seats as compared to 58 in the last 2004 election.

The saffron victory in Karnataka has importance in many aspects including the coming LOK SABHA elections next year.
