Panna, The capital of Bihar has been of the great historical importance. The ancient name of Patna , Patliputra has been the capital of Magadh Region since quite ancient time. Patna is well connected by Air, Railways and by Road with all parts of India.
The city is well civilized on the south bank of river Ganges. The major govt offices, airports are located along the west Patna. Major market area are:
Places of Interest :Kumhrar : 8 kilometer far from Patna Railway station. Kumhrar is famous for its remains of a Buddhist monastery and an assembly hall with huge pillars dated to the Mauryan regime. Amust visit place. Patna Museum : Having a large collection of antique items of historical importance. Gandhi Setu : Longest bridge in the country which connects North Bihar and souuth Bihar Patna Planetarium : Located at Dak Bunglow Road, Patna which reveals hidden traits of Astronomy. This is a center of attraction for both domestic as well asforeign tourists. Golghar : was constructed by Brtitish Empire for storage purpose. Now it is a center of attraction.
