Bar Coucil Gets Akhouri As President

Mr. Mangla Akhouri Srivastava is the newly elected President of Bar Council of Bihar. Mr. Akhouri, who actually hails from Sasaram is a veteran practitioner in civil courts and Patna High Court won the election that held last week announced the result only on sunday. Mr. Akhouri restressed his commitment to improve the dwindling state of affairs in the various courts in the state at various level. "There has been a prolonged demand for more sitting arrangements for Advocates in the courts and we will work on this first", he said. The coming weeks are holidays and major decisions will be taken after the Chhath Puja.

A number of senior lawyers and members were perpetually coming in there as he entered the office in the morning. A welcome program is about to be held in a couple of days.
